sit in my office today, I heard about Hurricane Bertha, which is literally over night went from tropical storm of Category 3 nights. It took me back in 3 years time, when Katrina in the Gulf of Mexico.

It weakened as it has Florida. I do not think anything about it. This happens a lot of time. But what if they are on the golf boom, it was a storm of category 5 This has also happened a few times, but recently as Get ready to drop if they land speed significantly, or that has been the case with the storms, with a landfall near me.

I had just bought a nice house, right on the beach in Ocean Springs, MS. I never had flood insurance, wind-only insurance. This was my first mistake. When it was all said and done, I had a foundation, where my house stood. The flood came and wiped away and the house was absolutely nothing.

Honestly, ever heard of flooding on the beach? I thought I was and my lesson the hard way, I still owe for a house that is no longer there, and even a beautiful piece of beach property.

The moral of the story is, hurricane season is back with full force. It is not too late for flood insurance or homeowner insurance, if you live in a coastal area. Even if you do not live in a coastal area if you do not have it, you should use the advantages of it. You never know when a hot water heater is to blow while you are away. Or even a water line.

When I found out the hard way about the importance of flood insurance. If I get in the desert tomorrow, would I still do, because you never know when you need it. A few hundred dollars per year, it could cost thousands.
